My New Nutcracker Device
Mar 28, 2018
Less than a month after I bought a brand new metallic nutcracker it began to bend in such a way that got useless.

So I decided to get a new one. A fast search on Amazon and I came across a wooden nutcracker in a aesthetic mushroom shape.
It takes less than a minute to get used to it. It is gently enough to break the shell and keep the kernel almost intact, and can be operated by children above 3 years (tested with nuts).
Despite of being made of wood it is quite strong so I think it will last for a long time. Although its thread got broken at the very bottom of the screw that doesn't affect its performance.

I've always loved wood over plastic but plastic things are usually cheaper, so I end up with lots of plasticware stuff in my kitchen.
Maybe it's time for a change.
Take care.
